The Moundsville Middle School jump rope team performed at the school recently to demonstrate various tricks and athletic skills in honor of American Education Week, which ran Nov. 14-18. The students performed jump rope routines with pogo sticks, holiday lights and more to carry the educational, anti-tobacco message during the active assembly.
We offer a variety of classes to suit different ages, abilities and experience. Our after-school jump rope classes are hugely popular and run October through June. Athletic Edge workshops can be set up to help improve athletic performance or to help crossfit athletes improve their skills, and our adult workshops help anyone learn the fundamentals.

Jump Rope For Heart is a national education and fundraising events sponsored by the American Heart Association and the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (AAHPERD).
These events engage elementary and middle school students with jumping rope while empowering them to improve their own health and help other kids with heart-health issues. And both programs are great ways to satisfy the physical education standards as determined by NASPE (National Association for Sport and Physical Education) and AAHE (American Association for Health Education).
