  • JumpRopeSprint racing is a sport that is still in the early stages of development which is already at a ready-for-action level. It is a sport only discovered in 2010 and involves sprinting while jumping rope once per stride.
Like most sport enthusiasts who invent a new sport, the three men who came up with JumpRopeSprint, Patent Lawyer Mark Krull together with his two partners, Stephen Ihli and Eric Small, they want the sport to be added to the Olympic Games, particularly after the 2016 Summer Olympics which will be held in Brazil.

JumpRopeSprint racing involves sprinting while jumping rope once per stride. The practice of this activity improves running technique, total body coordination, and aerobic capacity. Mastering this skill teaches an athlete to remain calm and maintain proper alignment while performing under stressful circumstances.

  • Basically, JumpRopeSprint training leads to a higher level of coordination. In juggling for example, a person develops the ability to monitor the positions of the balls without focusing on any one ball. Similarly, sprinting while jumping rope compels a person to focus on timing rather than each spin of the rope. Consequently, athletes learn to get into sync and stay in a zone. Thus, running with a jump rope encourages sound running fundamentals. A person who runs with heel strikes is more likely to tangle with the rope, just as a person who excessively back kicks. On the other hand, JumpRopeSprint training fosters proper lateral alignment and overall balance while maintaining a forward lean. These imposed efficiencies lead to good technique for any runner at any speed.

This involves running up and down a staircase and then jumping rope. The intensity of the exercise is very high and it can easily burn a lot of fat in just a matter of minutes. Start off by sprinting up and down 3-5 sets of stairs for about 1-2 minutes and then jump rope for about 2-3 minutes at a super high intensity level. Rest for a few minutes and then repeat the exercise. Increase the number of steps and the duration of the jump rope. As with the suicide drill, this form of exercise is very effective for fat burning and getting your heart pumping!

  • "With a , nighttime was the only time I had to myself, and it usually consisted of making myself carb-heavy meals, like pastas, bread, potatoes, and after 10 p.m. But I started my new lifestyle in November 2015. I wanted to lose fat and build a healthy lifestyle without the restriction of counting everything I ate. So I began starting my day off with a smoothie and eating lots of fruit, veggies, whole grains, , nuts, and seeds throughout the day. But since I love food, I don't avoid packaged and processed foods all the time. I also started following Kayla Itsines' from home. Since being a mom of three little ones keeps me pretty busy, I do three, 30-minute a week. I also sprint or jump rope at least three times a week for 20 to 25 minutes and fit in at least three sessions of 30 to 60 minutes of speed walking on the treadmill with the highest incline. Since I struggled to stay motivated with my workouts, I started my and accountability. After about a year and a half, I went from 166 pounds to about 136 pounds." Maggie Fierro, lost 30 pounds
